Welcome to HurPal CRM

HurPal CRM helps sales teams manage the full journey of a deal, from the first enquiry through to delivered work. It brings your accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, sales quotes, and projects together in one place, with a dashboard that shows how your pipeline is performing.

This documentation explains how to use each area of the CRM. It is written for the people who work in HurPal CRM every day: sales representatives, sales managers, and administrators.

The sales lifecycle

Most work in HurPal CRM follows the same path. Understanding this flow makes the rest of the documentation easier to follow.

  1. Capture a lead. A new enquiry is recorded as a lead with contact details, a source, a rating, and qualification notes.
  2. Qualify the lead. Once a lead is a genuine opportunity, you qualify it. This one step creates three linked records at once: an account, a contact, and an opportunity.
  3. Work the opportunity. The opportunity moves through your pipeline stages (for example Qualification, Proposal, Negotiation) until it is won or lost.
  4. Send a sales quote. You build a quote with line items, send it through an approval workflow, and share it with the customer.
  5. Deliver the project. When a deal is won, a project is created to plan and track the delivery work, its tasks, and its timesheets.

Throughout this journey you can log calls, send and receive emails, add notes, and assign tasks directly on each record.

Finding your way around

HurPal CRM has a fixed navigation menu on the left of every screen. It lists the main areas of the product (Dashboard, Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Sales Quotes, Projects, and more). The bar across the top shows your organization and your user account.

Calls, notes, and tasks do not have their own menu entries. You reach them as tabs inside an individual record, for example on an account, a contact, a lead, or an opportunity.

tip

Most list screens share the same tools: search, filters, show or hide columns, refresh, add a new record, and import or export. Once you learn one list, the others work the same way.
