Why use FastPack?
Business Central can pick and ship out of the box. FastPack handles the warehouse work that happens in between.
In many warehouses, items don’t go straight from the shelf to the truck. After picking, they are sent to a pack line or an assembly line first, and that work needs to be recorded and processed before the order ships. Standard Business Central doesn’t cover these steps. FastPack does.
The warehouse flow looks like this:
- Pick: From the shelf.
- Pack line or Assembly line: pack items and run quality checks, or assemble to the buyer’s requirements and apply custom labels. FastPack records and processes this work.
- Ship: To the customer.
What FastPack adds

When FastPack is the right fit
Use FastPack if your warehouse does more than pick and ship: for example, if orders pass through a packing and QC station, or items are assembled or labelled to customer requirements before they leave. If you only pick and ship, Business Central’s standard warehouse features may be enough.
